Gaskell Jazz (lefty 335) 2010 - 2012

I introduced the Gaskell JAZZ in 2010. I cannot remember my reasoning for producing a left handed 335-style guitar. I think I was interested in going down the Dave Grohl or Tom Delonge paths with this design. Or it might have simply been the fact that neither Gibson nor Epiphone were making left handed 335s at that time. We are talking nearly 15 years ago, now. A lot of things have changed since then.

What I do know, is that during its run the Gaskell JAZZ was very popular. It did not need to be any different from the original so it was the first Gaskell guitar I produced which was essentially a straight copy of another model, in contrast with everything else I did. Nevertheless, people loved this guitar and the most popular colour was red! There are lefty musicians all around the world that own a Gaskell JAZZ. I even have one myself for playing at home. I still play mine to this day.

When we went full Custom shop in 2013 I made a conscious decision not to do the Jazz as a custom build. I never made one thereafter and no one has ever asked. That pretty much speaks for itself, doesn't it.

If you were interested in this Gaskell model your only resources today are Reverb, eBay, Facebook Marketplace, Gumtree, Craigslist, etc.
